Responsibilities:
Conduct different types of assessments, such as network, mobile, web, thick client, wireless, social engineering, physical, etc.

The duties for this role are divided into three areas of responsibility:
Penetration Testing, Red Teaming, and Research & Development.

Penetration Testing Duties:

  • Work as part of a vulnerability assessment and / or penetration testing team, taking direction from line managers and executing directives in a thorough and timely fashion.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments on a wide variety of technologies and implementations utilising both automated tools and manual techniques.
  •  Conduct network penetration tests.
  •  Conduct application penetration tests (mobile, web and thick client) Conduct cloud security assessments.
  • Conduct social engineering assessments.
  • Conduct physical security assessments.
  • Train others on the use of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing techniques and tools.
  • Effectively communicate successes and obstacles with fellow team members and line managers/management.
  •  Interface with client contact(s) and staff in a constructive and professional manner.
  •  Develop subject matter expertise in offensive security tools, techniques and procedures.
  •  Utilise common vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools.
  •  Explain in detail the attack methodology and logic used in exploiting each finding.
  •  Provide training to clients.
  •  Prepare and present assessment report deliverables to clients. Perform technical quality assurance on reports.

Red Teaming Duties:

  •  Initial reconnaissance – open-source intelligence (OSINT) for collecting information on the targets.
  •  Initial compromise – gaining a foothold into the target environment through targeting weaknesses in people, process and / or technology.
  • Deploy command-and-control servers (C&C or C2) and custom payloads to establish communication / persistence in the target’s network.
  • Develop tools, techniques and procedures to evade detection by blue team (including the development of custom payloads).
  • Escalate privileges and maintain persistence.
  • Exfiltrate and / or complete objectives.

Research and Development Duties:

  • Research new vulnerabilities with a focus on high-profile products.
  • Understand the terminology and tactics employed by threat actors.
  • Research new attack methods.
  • Lead with novel and trendsetting ideas with a focus on: Threat and vulnerability research, offensive security and defensive security.
  • Liaise with management to ensure that the research being done aligns with clients  strategies and goals.
  • Share research insights by means of blogs, publications and presentations at security events.
  • Analyse and document the core problems of specific critical vulnerabilities.
  • Write vulnerability advisories for clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in IT, Software Development, or relevant IT security qualifications.
  • 5+ years of experience in Penetration Testing/Red Teaming.
  • Proven experience conducting diverse security assessments.
  • Programming experience.
  • Deep technical knowledge of cybersecurity.

About the Role:

Responsibilities

Support the Regulatory team to provide superior Regulatory services to relevant departments within the company and with external partners and Principals, and to control and manage portfolio outputs. To ensure legal compliance with the relevant medicine Regulatory Authorities (Country Specific where applicable), Medicines and Related Substances Control Act and South African Pharmacy Council, ensuring timeous processing of regulatory applications.

  • Ensure timeous initiation and management of the registration process for new product submissions.
  • Ensure approval of registration applications of all medicines with the relevant authorities.
  • Completes specific pre-registration activities including receipt, screening, compilation and timeous submission of dossier/s Regulatory Authority.
  • Ensures that all assigned dossiers are submitted timeously to relevant health authorities and are followed up on regularly in order to enable registrations.
  • Ensures that required standards, protocols and processes around obtaining dossiers and gathering supporting data from suppliers are followed after signing of appropriate agreements.
  • Ensure the maintenance/ update of registrations in accordance with the relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines.
  • Receives, prepares and submits all applicable updates, variations, resolutions and any other correspondence required by the Regulatory Authority.
  • Completes dossier audits of Registered Products for the assigned products.
  • Conducts dossier due-diligences, post-registration variations for all applicable Regulatory Authorities in compliance with the latest regulatory guidelines and applicable Regulations within the specified time-lines in order to support the business and strategic company.

Objectives 

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with Regulatory Authorities.
  • Manages relationships with the Regulatory Authorities to ensure more effective streamlining of the company’s applications when required.
  • Building sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve regulatory goals.
  • Effectively managing, auditing and implementation of Regulatory systems.
  • Prepare, review and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and local Regulatory Guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:
